  • A Ridiculously Short Introduction to Autism

    Aspiedent’s ridiculously short introduction to autism provides a basic overview of the Integrative Cognitive Profiling framework and the causes of difficulties with communication and social interaction in autism. We then focus on the impact of these difficulties in the workplace with the aid of humourous cartoons and give pointers to aid communication.


    Because our framework effortlessly includes conditions such as ADHD, dyspraxia and dyslexia, etc, this training can also include the relationship between autism and these conditions.


    Specifically, this training includes:


    • A short overview of what causes autistic symptoms - specifically those to do with communication and social interaction.
    • Common areas of difficulties encountered during employment.
    • Some benefits of employing autistic people, which focuses on the variety of skills.
    • Common communication issues with some guidelines.

    The training content itself is a very easily digestible 45 minutes but we do like to leave time for comment and discussion which is usually 15 minutes.


    This can be delivered remotely or in person. This training can also be recorded (additional cost) so that everyone in your business can access it at their leisure.

  • Autism Understanding Training

    Aspiedent’s Autism Understanding Training provides an in depth overview of the Integrative Cognitive Profiling framework, how this can be used to describe the specific autism of an individual and the causes of difficulties with communication and social interaction in autism. This training is highly interactive and illustrates difficulties with the aid of humourous cartoons.


    Because our framework effortlessly includes conditions such as ADHD, dyspraxia and dyslexia, etc, this training can also include the relationship between autism and these conditions.


    Specifically, this training includes:


    • An overview of the Integrative Cognitive Profiling Framework and how this can be used to describe the autism of a particular individual.
    • Exercises which help participants understand the impact of various aspects of autism such as sensory overload.
    • A study of the different components of the Integrative Cognitive Profiling Framework and how they interact with each other.
    • Common communication issues, their causes, and accommodations.

    This training is a full day and afterwards participants will have a good grasp of the complexity of autism and the wide range of underlying issues that make up difficulties.


    This training is delivered in person to a small group of max 12 partipants in order to ensure plenty of interaction and apportunities for questions.


    This training can be tailored to the needs of the customer. For example, we could have initial discussions to assertain which types of autism to cover to ensure maximum benefit of the training to the customer.
